RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Test and Validation Engineer in Manufacturing Design in Tucson, AZ. You will drive technical test support from development through production, shaping test strategies and improving producibility. Requires a STEM Bachelor's and 8+ years experience, active TS/SCI clearance, and U.S.

citizenship. You will collaborate across disciplines, influence decisions from design to production, and help reduce test constraints while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
Experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive decisions on test strategy.
Experience communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
Active TS/SCI clearance required before start date.
U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

Serve as the manufacturing test authority within the program.
Apply test engineering skills to optimize and mature the test strategy.
Improve testability through cross-disciplinary collaboration and resolve test constraints.
Influence decisions from new designs through production transition.
Design, control, and improve testability with multi-disciplinary teams.
Build influential relationships with internal customers.
