Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing management, 3+ years in manufacturing leadership, and familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing management preferred; MBA a plus.
• 3+ years in manufacturing leadership; 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Six-sigma Green/Black Belt Certification and Lean Certification a plus.
• Knowledge of Fiber Optic Industry desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and Power Point; data-driven continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Schedule personnel to maximize daily labor costs per production requirements.
• Oversee overtime, PTO and training planning.
• Ensure machines operate efficiently within guidelines.
• Meet KPIs such as scrap/remake reduction, safety, FPY, OEE and OTD.
• Maintain TPM, 6S audits and standard work on time.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and functions to meet production demands.
