Job summary

This role leads a manufacturing engineering team, ensures safe, quality production, and aligns deliverables with plant goals. You’ll drive technical development and continuous improvement while partnering with colleagues across 3M’s global network.

The position emphasizes leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable operations and meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of combined engineering and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Eight (8) years of combined engineering and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and directing a team of manufacturing engineers.
• Supports safely and efficiently manufacturing quality products in their area of responsibility.
• Ensuring that engineering deliverables are aligned with the goals and timelines of the plant.
• Developing the technical abilities of the operational manufacturing engineering team.
• Fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
