Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Service Manager to lead our service team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Ohio. The role oversees technician development, dispatch, scheduling, and work orders to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of service management experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record of improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a service management role.
• Proven experience in technician development, dispatch, scheduling, and managing work orders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety and quality standards.
• Proficiency in using computer software and systems related to manufacturing and service management.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the service department, including technician development, dispatch, scheduling, and work orders.
• Developing and implementing effective service procedures, policies, and standards to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Providing technical guidance and support to the service team, and ensuring that all technicians are adequately trained and competent.
• Monitoring and tracking service metrics, and implementing strategies to improve performance and productivity.
• Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
