Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) in Acton, MA is seeking an Operations Project Manager to bridge strategic planning with day-to-day execution across manufacturing processes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee budgets, and drive improvements in cost, cycle time, and manufacturability for parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, while coordinating with design engineering and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of progressively complex project administration experience.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and schedules.
• Strong communication and leadership in a manufacturing/engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to advance manufacturing readiness and production readiness.
• Support bid/proposal efforts with detailed manufacturing BOEs.
• Monitor budgets and schedules to align with production costs.
• Drive continuous improvements to reduce cost and cycle time.
• Design and optimize processes for fabrication of parts and assemblies.
• Provide guidance to design engineering on manufacturability and tooling.
