Job summary

MSR Technology Group is seeking a Contract Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer to support the Corporate Manufacturing Engineering team in planning, coordinating, and executing new plant and capital equipment projects. You will develop project documentation, coordinate technical deliverables, and track schedules and budgets from concept through installation.

The role requires strong project management, experience with conveyors, cranes, robotic systems, and assembly equipment, plus proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project coordination, project engineering, or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and AutoCAD.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience developing project schedules, equipment specifications, RFQs, and budget tracking tools.
• Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of new plant and facility expansion projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, action items, risks, and open issues.
• Coordinate activities between engineering teams, suppliers, plant personnel, and contractors.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to project stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and document meeting minutes and action items.
• Create and update manufacturing layouts using AutoCAD.
• Develop RFQs for equipment, coordinate supplier bids and evaluations.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and cost tracking tools.
• Monitor expenditures and identify cost risks and mitigation opportunities.
