Accelera is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead capital investments and facility optimization. You will manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring upgrades and changes improve safety, throughput, and plant performance, while aligning with long term site goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial project management experience.
  • Proven capital equipment procurement, install, and project management.
  • Experience developing technical specs, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end capital equipment projects from scope to commissioning.
  • Lead facility infrastructure upgrades and production layout changes.
  • Manage equipment startup, validation, and technical integration for new products.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet milestones within budget.
  • Lead root cause analysis and Lean-based continuous improvement to boost productivity.

You will drive operational excellence by managing the full lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring that equipment upgrades and process improvements directly enhance safety, throughput, and overall plant performance.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of capital equipment projects, from initial scoping and budgeting to final commissioning.
  • Direct facility infrastructure upgrades and production layout modifications to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Facilitate the successful launch of new products by managing equipment startup, validation, and technical integration.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure project milestones are met safely and within financial constraints.
  • Lead root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting to resolve complex equipment reliability issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies using Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Qualifications
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing industrial projects within a production setting.
  • Proven track record in capital equipment procurement, installation, and project management.
  • Proficiency in developing technical specifications, project schedules, and budget tracking.
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and structured problem-solving tools.
  • Experience managing external contractors and vendor relationships in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across various operational teams.
