Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced engineering project manager to lead capital projects from inception through completion in our Salem, Oregon facility. You will coordinate design reviews, testing, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires the ability to manage multiple work streams, collaborate with production, supply chain, and maintenance teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or technical project management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and formulate engineering programs and organize project staff according to requirements.
• Ensure factory supports inventory needs with supply chain collaboration.
• Assign personnel to project phases such as technical studies, design, specifications, and testing.
• Review designs for compliance and coordinate with technical developments and scheduling.
• Direct integration of technical activities and monitor project progress and budget.
• Oversee capital investments and track costs and asset values.
