Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an experienced Operations Safety Specialist to lead safety, compliance and project execution within our manufacturing assets. The role includes directing field activities, ensuring safe, reliable outcomes, and coordinating cross-functional teams across projects.

You will drive schedules, manage equipment handovers, and support training with a strong emphasis on process safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of operator experience in chemical manufacturing.
• 2+ years console operator experience or equivalent knowledge.
• TWIC card before start date; valid US driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and production meetings, ensure safe project execution.
• Direct field activities to ensure safe, reliable outcomes.
• Drive schedule and budget adherence for manufacturing elements.
• Develop equipment return-to-service documentation for projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for initiatives.
• Provide input on asset operations needs and training.
