Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations across Livermore and San Leandro, CA. You will drive safe, disciplined execution in prefabrication and assembly, aligning with schedules, quality, labor effectiveness, and plant performance.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in fabrication, welding, metal processing, and close collaboration with unions, planning, engineering, quality, maintenance, and EHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related field; equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with leadership responsibility in production operations.
• Experience leading frontline teams in fabrication, welding, metal processing, or similar environments.
• Experience coordinating with unions, planning, purchasing, engineering, quality, maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations across multiple sites (Livermore, San Leandro) including fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Ensure safety, discipline, quality, and adherence to schedules and labor plans.
• Drive throughput, productivity, and on-time delivery; address bottlenecks and disruptions.
• Collaborate with planning, materials, engineering, quality, maintenance and EHS to enable stable execution.
