Job summary

Siemens in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a diverse team of assemblers on the manufacturing floor. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while mentoring staff and aligning with program goals.

Experience launching new production lines in rail or related sectors is highly valued. We are looking for a results-driven leader with 5+ years of production planning experience, SAP proficiency, and Lean/Six Sigma know-how to optimize processes and prepare vehicles

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience in business, operations, manufacturing, or engineering.
5+ years of experience planning and launching new production lines in rail-related sectors.
Rail industry experience including light or heavy rail is a plus.
Hands-on experience with SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Plan production operations, define workflows, establish priorities, and sequence production activities to meet targets.
Monitor manpower and equipment planning to meet evolving production demands.
Foster open communication across the team regarding work status and performance.
Lead employee development through performance management and coaching.
Drive readiness and continuous improvement to ensure on-time vehicle shipment.
