Job summary

Bobrick is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve tools, machines, and processes for higher quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. The role represents Manufacturing Engineering in cross-functional teams and leads Capital Expenditure projects and Industry 4.0 upgrades.

The position emphasizes design of fixtures and tooling, data-driven problem solving, and hands-on support to production lines; 7–10 years in manufacturing is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Seven to ten years of related experience in Manufacturing/Production.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with PLC programming and automation.
• Knowledge of SPC and Six Sigma.
• Understanding of GD&T and reading blueprints.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; CAD/CAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and support manufacturing tools, machinery, and processes to improve quality and productivity.
• Design, build, and document fixtures, tools, and resolve equipment issues.
• Manage capital expenditure projects and continuous improvement of production lines.
• Lead Industry 4.0 upgrades and automation initiatives across manufacturing.
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing and other departments; troubleshoot issues.
• Train production personnel on flow manufacturing concepts and new equipment.
