Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with robotics, machining, washing/cleaning and part handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Analyze material handling, storage, part flow, and production layouts; develop layout solutions using CAD.
• Support the design, installation, launch, and troubleshooting of new equipment and processes.
• Identify required tooling, equipment, labor, and other resources for new manufacturing processes.
• Manage equipment and process implementation projects, including vendor coordination, timelines, and budgets.
• Create and maintain routings, BOMs, PFMEAs/FMEAs, process plans, work instructions, and customer specifications.
• Support APQP, new product launches, and process validation activities.
• Work with outside processors and suppliers on process startup, troubleshooting, and improvements.
• Develop and coordinate preventative maintenance programs.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, material-flow improvements, and cost reduction.

An established manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, equipment implementation, material flow, and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will focus heavily on washing, robotics, machining, packing, part handling, material movement, and production staging, with ownership of material flow from receiving through shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness
• Analyze material handling, storage, part flow, and production layouts; develop layout solutions using CAD
• Support the design, installation, launch, and troubleshooting of new equipment and processes
• Identify required tooling, equipment, labor, and other resources for new manufacturing processes

• Experience in metal stamping and/or machining preferred
• Background supporting new equipment launches, project management, or new program launches preferred
