Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for the AIMS cell to develop, optimize and document advanced PCB, manifold, and backplane manufacturing processes. The role covers imaging/chemical/wet processes and requires strong collaboration across design, manufacturing, and QA teams.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, experience in DOE/SPC/6Sigma, GD&T, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering or related STEM with several years of experience in process engineering.
• Experience with DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma for process development and control.
• Familiarity with GD&T and the ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process Development: develop and improve manufacturing processes with focus on affordability.
• Factory Support: monitor yields, costs, stability, and implement improvements.
• Design Support: propose design improvements and document process capabilities.
