Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer (RF Systems) onsite in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role focuses on supporting RF system production with collaboration across design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

The candidate will work on process specifications, work instructions, and tooling, while driving continuous improvement. A BS or MS in a relevant field is required, with a Secret clearance ability and US citizenship expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience creating process work instructions or working in manufacturing/design environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and document control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Production technicians, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Quality to meet manufacturing commitments.
• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Engineering Process Specifications, Work Instructions, Routers, Tooling/Fixturing and Equipment.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to reduce cost, cycle time and defects.
• Collaborate with design engineering to improve producibility of new and updated designs.
• Communicate with leadership, clients and vendors across multiple levels.
