Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III in Pontiac, IL to optimize production layouts and processes. This role blends hands-on shop floor work with lab and office analysis to validate improvements and ensure quality and reliability across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include studying time/motion data, interpreting drawings, validating standards, planning work allocations, and leading process improvements with CAD-based documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process improvement and validation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with CAD tools and engineering software.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Study time, motion, methods, and operating speeds to improve efficiency.
• Interpret drawings and collaborate to maintain quality standards.
• Review logs and specs to verify QA and production requirements.
• Plan work assignments based on performance and production schedules to optimize throughput.
• Create charts and diagrams to illustrate workflow and layouts.
• Observe equipment use to ensure safety and QA compliance.
• Measure time requirements to support ergonomics and productivity improvements.
• Analyze data and write reports to validate standards or identify deviations.
• Lead process improvement and validation on shop floor and lab.
• Assist in prototype design, validation, and testing for manufacturability.
