Job summary

Cullerton Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3 for a 12-month, 100% onsite role in Pontiac, IL. The position runs Monday–Friday, first shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with an hourly rate of $42 plus full benefits, including vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay.

The engineer will split time between hands-on shop floor work and office-based tasks, focusing on process improvement, validation, and daily production operations in a machining environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
• 5–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining environments
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement, validation, and daily production operations on the shop floor.
• Conduct time, motion, and method studies to improve production efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to validate processes and prototypes.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturing quality and reliability.
• Assist with production planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
