This role blends office analysis with hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting to improve manufacturing efficiency. You will work with quality and production engineering teams to validate new processes and PCNs, with 70% shop floor time and 30% office tasks, requiring a Bachelor's in engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Ability to produce sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing process improvement and validation initiatives.
• Provide daily support to quality and operations teams.
• Spend ~30% of time in the office on PCNs, test reporting, prototype design, and process analysis.
• Spend ~70% of time on the shop floor and in the lab troubleshooting processes and validating prototypes.
• Partner with quality and production engineering teams to validate new processes and initiatives.
