Job summary

Cullerton Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3 for a 12-month, 100% onsite role in Pontiac, IL. The position runs Monday–Friday, first shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with comprehensive benefits and a pay rate of $42 per hour.

The engineer will support process improvement, validation, and daily operations in a machining environment, balancing 70% hands-on shop floor work with 30% office engineering tasks. Strong drawing interpretation and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with 5–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining environments and process validation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Support daily manufacturing operations through process troubleshooting, improvement, and validation on the shop floor.
Conduct time, motion, and method studies to evaluate efficiency and identify improvements.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to validate new processes and prototypes.
Interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specs to ensure quality and reliability.
Analyze data, prepare reports, and develop process documentation and layouts.
Perform hands-on prototype validation and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
