AMTRACO in Franksville, WI, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing across facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while driving profitability.

You'll partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, and senior leadership to align resources, optimize processes, and develop teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations and budgets to meet revenue/expense targets.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure on‑time delivery commitments.
• Manage production and maintenance budgets; identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Optimize staffing, equipment, and materials across locations.
• Lead preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Balance demand with plant capacity and resources.
• Coordinate with supply chain and purchasing for procurement and logistics.
• Address risks to keep projects on schedule and aligned with customer dates.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Six Sigma) and develop teams.
• Support acquisitions and expansion initiatives with plant integration and planning.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across sites.
