Job summary

AMTRACO seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead and strengthen manufacturing across facilities in Franksville, WI. You will drive performance, coach teams, and align resources with customer commitments. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement while expanding plant capabilities.

You will partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, and senior leadership to optimize operations and support growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Minimum of five years of relevant operations or production management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations and meet budgets.
• Monitor production schedules to satisfy customer delivery commitments.
• Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Optimize staffing, equipment, and materials across locations.
• Lead preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Balance demand with capacity and coordinate procurement.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean & Six Sigma methods.
• Develop teams through coaching and training.
• Support acquisitions and expansion projects.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across sites.
