Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. Fort Worth is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Resource Planner III to allocate manufacturing resources for process planning and maintenance. You will handle BOM consumption, CAP routing creation, and manufacturing orders in Bell systems.

When MCAD models exist, you will create and maintain manufacturing drawings and modeling, and you must understand shop production operations. The role requires knowledge of GD&T, ERP/MRP, CAD tools, and strong communication to coordinate with

Qualifications

Two years college or two years in aircraft industry or Bell apprenticeship.
Demonstrated capability to apply GD&T and aerospace tolerances.
Experience in technical writing in aerospace/manufacturing environment.
Proficient with planning software, ERP/MRP, CAD tools.
Preferred experience with composite or metallic materials.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

Interrogate and interpret engineering drawings, models, BOMs, specs, and procedures to perform assigned work.
Manage BOM accurately and its consumption for manufacturing operations.
Create and maintain CAP routings and work sequences.
Create manufacturing items orders including NC programs, tools/fixtures, and gages.
Provide planning support to manufacturing through production order and tool maintenance tasks.
Prepare dimensional charts, manufacturing instructions, material diagrams and ply tables.
