Job summary

Textron in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced Mfg Eng Resource Planner III to allocate manufacturing resources for process planning. You will manage BOM consumption, create CAP routings, and maintain manufacturing items orders, NC programs, tools and Gages.

You will support operations with production order maintenance and engineering liaison. Ideal candidates have GD&T/aerospace tolerances expertise, strong technical writing skills, and experience with ERP/MRP, CAD tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two years college or two years of aircraft industry experience.
• Demonstrated capability to adequately perform GD&T/aerospace tolerances.
• Experience in technical writing or using technical writing in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Proficient in planning software, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/MRP software, CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate, analyze and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and specifications.
• Manage BOM consumption and create CAP routings for manufacturing operations.
• Create and maintain manufacturing item orders/requests including NC programs and tools.
• Provide process planning support through production order maintenance and liaison functions.
• Maintain dimensional charts, manufacturing instructions, diagrams and ply tables.
• Apply aircraft manufacturing knowledge and train other production engineers as needed.
