Job summary

Textron is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Resource Programmer III to design manufacturing resources, develop CAM NC programs, MCAD fixtures, loft patterns, and 2D drawings for production planning. The role requires knowledge of shop operations and adherence to management strategies and Bell processes.

The position involves creating and maintaining MCAD models, tooling definitions, and NC programs, with opportunities to train others and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Two years college or three years of experience in the aircraft industry or completed related Bell apprentice program.
• Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret Engineering Drawings, Models, BOMs, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents and procedures to perform assigned work.
• Provide MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences.
• Develop and maintain tooling/fixture definitions for manufacturing operations and CAM programs for NC equipment.
• Maintain Loft MCAD models, flat patterns and associated digital tooling programs.
• Apply NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing and Planning processes & procedures.
