Job summary

Cessna Aircraft Company in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Mfg Eng Resource Planner III (Plant 1) to optimize manufacturing resources and support process planning creation and maintenance. You will manage BOM consumption, CAP routings, and issue manufacturing items orders including NC programs and tools.

This role requires understanding of shop production, GD&T aerospace tolerances, and proficiency with ERP/MRP and CAD software.

Qualifications

Two years college or two years of aircraft industry experience.
Understanding of GD&T and Aerospace tolerances.
Experience in technical writing in aerospace/manufacturing.
Proficient with planning software, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/MRP software, CAD.
Prefer experience in composites or metallic materials.
Prefer experience in machined parts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administer allocation of manufacturing resources for process planning creation and maintenance.
Manage BOM consumption and CAP routings for manufacturing operations.
Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, drawings, and CAP routings; produce NC programs, tools, fixtures, and gages as needed.
Provide planning liaison to manufacturing operations through production order maintenance and tool maintenance requests.
Train one or more employees and ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
Maintain dimensional charts, manufacturing instructions (text, 2D/3D), and related diagrams.
