Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner Sr (A Shift) to develop and maintain robust build plans for major hardware, coordinating with suppliers and shop floor teams to ensure configuration control and on-time delivery. The role emphasizes hands-on planning, technical collaboration, and quality metrics in a fast-paced spaceflight environment.

Qualifications

• HS/GED or equivalent required; 7+ years in manufacturing planner or production
• Understanding of Project Management and Lean Six Sigma
• Intermediate experience with P6 or other GANTT-style tools
• Experience with CAD software to design tooling for tube weldments
• Ability to earn trust and work in an inclusive culture

Responsibilities

• Leads development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing plans and BOMs at cell level
• Coordinates supplier integration to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
• Reviews supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements
• Develops tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders
• Leads tooling dispositions and investigates manufacturing issues
• Contributes to producibility assessments and design input at cell level
• Creates work statements and sequencing for major hardware delivery
• Provides shipside support and cross-functional training to junior teammates
