Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Protection, Control, & Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager for the Arecibo, PR site. This onsite role leads multiple manufacturing processes and drives operational excellence to meet schedules, quality, safety and customer commitments.

You will provide strategic leadership across molding, machining, brazing, plating, and assembly, develop future leaders, and champion continuous improvement in a high-volume, world-class manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 7 years of leadership or management experience within manufacturing operations.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial engineering principles, quality systems, and operational excellence methodologies.
Experience leading large, diverse production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in English and Spanish for global business communication.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute production strategies aligned with the plant's long-term objectives.
Lead manufacturing operations to achieve quality, capacity, cost, delivery, and productivity goals.
Drive improvements in operational performance, including scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, productivity enhancement, and on-time delivery performance.
Manage daily production activities and workforce planning to ensure customer requirements are met.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.
Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and World Class Manufacturing practices.
Support localization and cost reduction projects.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
Develop leadership capabilities and succession plans within the operations organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence metrics and plant objectives.
Lead production activities to meet business growth requirements and customer demand.
Promote compliance with Eaton policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
