Job summary

Hunter Douglas, a global leader in window coverings, seeks an Operations Manager for the Augusta facility. You will direct manufacturing execution, workforce development, and customer fulfillment, translating business goals into daily actions while upholding safety and quality standards.

Success requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication, with the ability to align direct reports and matrix teams toward common objectives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong Lean manufacturing experience and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using KPIs and metrics to drive business performance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Growth targets.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Set clear priorities and performance standards across the organization.
• Drive disciplined execution and cross-functional alignment.
• Serve on the plant leadership team and partner with executive leadership.
• Develop and mentor high-performing teams; foster engagement and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with HR to improve retention, onboarding, and training effectiveness.
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead daily production, labor utilization, and schedule attainment.
• Improve inventory management and material flow across the facility.
• Drive Lean initiatives: 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Process Control.
• Ensure readiness for new equipment, processes, and product introductions.
