Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Manufacturing Analyst to lead production control activities in Elkridge, MD. The role requires coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

The Sr. Principal level adds leadership across cross-functional processes, training teammates, and driving process improvements in a depot environment. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with extensive experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP or Production Control.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and MS Office with strong Excel/data analysis skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive timely flow of product through Manufacturing to meet delivery requirements.
• Provide schedule status and visibility of hardware for assigned programs from kit conversion to delivery.
• Collaborate with suppliers, MRP, manufacturing, and program management to meet metrics.
• Utilize Tableau to analyze SAP metrics and manage material shortages as delays occur.
• Manage stock, supplier sourcing, and material procurement; review depletion analyses.
• Support various DOD/commercial customers in a depot environment.
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide coaching on core skills.
