Job summary

Unarco Material Handling Llc seeks a Senior Manufacturing Manager to direct and optimize large-scale operations in heavy industrial manufacturing. You will lead multi-shift teams, drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery through strong operational discipline.

You will develop long-term plans, manage CapEx, and coordinate with logistics and procurement to meet aggressive production targets while maintaining robust maintenance programs for massive capital

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• 5+ years of direct managerial experience overseeing multi-shift operations or entire plant departments.
• 3+ years of experience with forming, punching, press operations with steel or comparable metal.
• 3+ years of experience overseeing MIG welding operations.
• Deep knowledge of heavy processes like CNC machining, electrical infrastructure, welding, or assembly.
• Expertise in ERP and MES systems.
• Strong change management skills for leading structural and tech changes.

Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale assembly, machining, fabrication, welding, or heavy component casting operations.
• Develop long-term business plans, budgets, CapEx proposals, and technical strategies.
• Coordinate production schedules with logistics, procurement, and supply chain teams to hit delivery windows.
• Analyze data to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce scrap, lower cost per unit.
• Enforce safety, OSHA, environmental, and regulatory requirements; implement Quality Management Systems.
• Lead root-cause investigations for machinery failures or safety incidents.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives; oversee preventative maintenance on capital assets.

Job SummaryThe Senior Manufacturing Manager in Heavy Industrial Manufacturing directs all large-scale plant operations and maintenance functions. This leadership role focuses on maximizing heavy equipment utilization, driving high-volume throughput, and enforcing rigorous industrial safety & quality standards. The ideal candidate optimizes complex, capital-intensive manufacturing lines while leading multi-layered teams of supervisors and skilled labor.
