Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with packaging, boiler operations and maintenance, maintenance fabrication, conveyor repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify faults or malfunctions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machinery operating at peak efficiency.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnose faults and repair quickly to minimize downtime.
• Operate and maintain boiler operations with safety and efficiency in mind.
• Perform conveyor repairs and maintenance for smooth operation.
• Utilize mechanical troubleshooting to resolve equipment issues.
• Fabricate parts and components as needed using tools and equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies; collaborate with team across departments.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on manufacturing methods.
