Job summary

Jobot is hosting a maintenance technician role at an established food packaging company in Southern California. The selected candidate will perform emergency repairs on production equipment and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in food manufacturing maintenance, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, plus PLC operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of repair, maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical skills with electrical knowledge.
• Knowledge of PLC operation.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance of machinery when not addressing emergencies.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Reports problems and ensures a work order is raised for corrective action.
• Ensures adherence to GMP and safety codes.
