Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, electrical skills, preventive maintenance, and repairing.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance to increase the longevity of equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs and installations as needed.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment runs at full capacity.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development to stay current with industry standards.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and manage maintenance budget.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and follow safety protocols.
