Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily production, maintain equipment, and minimize downtime at our Leominster, MA site. You will lead maintenance across motors, conveyors, and production systems with a focus on safety and performance. This is a permanent on-site position with room for growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance, strong preventive maintenance knowledge, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Weekend/holiday flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in engineering or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques.
• Proficient with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem solving and teamwork skills; able to work under pressure.
• Degree or diploma preferred; certifications advantageous.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues.
• Performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Responding to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Collaborating with engineering to understand maintenance requirements.
• Documenting maintenance work for records and reference.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed during maintenance.
• Assisting in installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Supporting continuous improvement to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Staying updated on industry trends and maintenance techniques.
