Jobot is seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Mount Vernon, Alabama. You will maintain equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a maintenance role, strong problem‑solving skills, and knowledge of safe maintenance practices. A high school diploma or vocational training is expected, with relevant certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a maintenance technician role within manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
• Experience with equipment repair, selection, operation, and control.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues promptly.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with team to optimize production and methods.
