Job summary

Kito-Crosby in Longview, TX, is seeking an L-Group Leader/Manufacturing Supervisor to direct machining, forging, welding, painting, finishing, and assembly operations. You will supervise a team, ensure safety, quality, and on-time shipment, and manage costs and production schedules.

This role collaborates with Maintenance, QA, Engineering, Scheduling, and Purchasing to drive continuous improvement, tool workflow, and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP experience (e.g., SAP, AS400) or similar systems is required or strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Supervise machining, forging, welding, finishing, and assembly operations.
• Ensure safety, quality, production quantity, and on-time shipment goals.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, Engineering, and other departments on workflow and improvements.
• Provide daily direction, training, and guidance to team members.
• Expedite hot orders and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
