Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to oversee Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Continuous Improvement across the manufacturing organization.

The role reports to the VP of Manufacturing and sets the strategy, standards, and talent needed to translate product designs into safe, repeatable, efficient, and scalable manufacturing processes. The Director leads two teams—Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement—driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering/industrial engineering/operational excellence.
• Lead experience in multi-site or complex manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of EBOM-to-MBOM, routings, and methods of manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Oversee EBOM-to-MBOM transformations and manufacturing data governance.
• Develop and maintain Methods of Manufacture and work instructions.
• Partner with Product Engineering on manufacturability and DFx.
• Drive plant layout, capacity analysis, and line design.
• Lead Lean initiatives, Value Stream Mapping, 5S and standard work.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Facilities, and EHS.
