Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Continuous Improvement across the organization.

You will drive strategy, standards, and talent to translate designs into safe, scalable manufacturing processes. You will oversee EBOM-to-MBOM transformation, shop-floor readiness, and capital projects while partnering with Operations, Product Engineering, Quality, and EHS to improve safety, quality, and cost across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering or operations with 5+ years leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of EBOM–MBOM, routings, and methods of manufacture.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, CAD, PLM, and manufacturing data systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Manufacturing Eng, Industrial Eng, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Develop and execute multi-year functional strategy aligned with growth and capacity expansion.
• Establish governance, standards, staffing plans, and performance expectations.
• Lead plant layout, line design, capacity modeling, and equipment strategy across sites.
• Drive Lean initiatives: VSM, Kaizen, 5S, standard work, problem solving.
• Represent Manufacturing in new product introductions and engineering changes.
