Form Energy in the United States is hiring a Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing to lead the design, development, and commissioning of high-volume automated manufacturing lines for our energy storage technology. This role acts as a technical leader bridging internal teams and external vendors to ensure scalable, manufacturable line designs.

You will collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations, and vendors to move concepts to startup and scale

Qualificações

• 6–10+ years in manufacturing engineering or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience designing or commissioning automated lines.
• Strong knowledge of machine design and material handling.
• Proven ability to manage external equipment vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical engagement with equipment vendors to define and refine designs for high-volume lines.
• Provide design feedback on mechanical systems and automation strategies for manufacturability and reliability.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks through DFMEA/PFMEA and vendor proposals.
• Own vendor performance from specification through FAT, SAT, installation and commissioning.
• Drive issue resolution during build, integration, and startup phases with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to meet process requirements and throughput targets.
• Develop line layouts, architectures, and equipment specs to scale from prototype to production.
• Establish standards for equipment design, vendor management, and commissioning.
• Support ramp-up activities, line validation, and production readiness.
