Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes supporting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. You will collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and design engineering teams to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

The role involves analyzing production flow, equipment layout, and line performance to boost efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or process engineering environment.
• Reading engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production flow, line performance, labor utilization, and equipment layout to improve efficiency.
• Monitor plan-versus-actual production output and identify gaps affecting delivery or schedule.
• Assess procurement and material readiness to support mass production start.
• Validate supply chain execution, including material flow and readiness to meet production demand.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction, pilot builds, and ramp-up activities.
• Collaborate with design engineering to improve manufacturability and process robustness.
• Monitor process capability, yield, cycle time, and other metrics to drive improvements.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
