Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Arizona Campus Sustainability Solutions engineering division. The role focuses on growing and scaling multi-site operations, building a diverse, high-performing team, and delivering process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Leaders will align goals with business priorities, drive cross-functional collaboration, and manage budgets while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across validated products and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical, chemical, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience with 5+ years in supervisory/management roles.
• Proven ability to build and engage high-performing technical teams and lead cross-functional problem solving.
• Experience applying engineering rigor in regulated medical device manufacturing (risk analysis, validation, DFM).
• Proven ability to develop and execute 3-5 year strategic roadmaps translating priorities into projects and capital plans.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing engineering team; manage resources and performance and mentor engineering leaders.
• Align department goals with business and customer priorities; ensure timely execution.
• Ensure quality, regulatory, policy, and engineering compliance while maintaining validated products and processes.
• Lead cross-functional issue resolution and implementation of new products and processes in production.
• Drive Lean, 5S, innovation, and operational excellence to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Develop and execute 3-5-year strategic roadmaps that translate business priorities into project, process, technology, and capital plans.
• Manage department budgets, expenses, and capital investment needs.
• Report department performance, projects, budgets, and operations to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or director.
