Job summary

BioTalent in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead precision CNC machining and assembly operations on site, driving cost reductions and the transfer of new product development into full production.

You will oversee a 9-person team of Manufacturing Engineers and Machinists, partner with QA, Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues, and ensure readiness and scalability across the shop and assembly lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 9 Manufacturing Engineers and Machinists with hands-on guidance and mentorship
• Oversee precision CNC machining operations and assembly line processes
• Drive cost reduction and process improvements across manufacturing
• Manage NPD-to-production transfers from design to first production
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues
• Support production readiness and scalability in machine shop and assembly environments
