Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to lead manufacturing activities for precision robotic systems. You will own the lifecycle from design transfer to industrialization, focusing on robotic arm assemblies, metrology, and process validation.

You will collaborate with R&D, QA, and Operations to ensure scalable, compliant, and high-quality production, with opportunities to influence process strategy early in the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Medical device industry experience and NPI exposure are valued.

Responsabilités

• Design and own assembly processes for multi-axis robotic arm structures.
• Define and validate datum schemes and fixturing for consistent assembly references.
• Author assembly and inspection processes for complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Identify metrology requirements for assembly reliability and verification.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Operations to implement processes and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electromechanical system issues; mentor junior engineers.
