This role involves planning, designing, and constructing manufacturing facilities and related structures. The engineer will determine facility specifications, analyze location, material resources, and structural design, resolve technical problems, and recommend production improvements.

Major Position Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods based on product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality standards.
• Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout for maximum efficiency.
• Determines parts, equipment, tools, and processes needed to meet manufacturing goals according to specifications.
• Estimates production times, staffing, and costs to support management decisions.
• Communicates manufacturing capabilities and schedules to facilitate production.
• Collaborates with vendors to specify products, arrange equipment, materials, and parts procurement.
• Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years of experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proficient in oral and written communication, meeting deadlines, working independently and in teams, problem-solving, analytical thinking, design, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
