This individual will be responsible for planning, designing, and constructing manufacturing facilities and related structures. This includes determining facility specifications, analyzing location options, material resources, structural design, resolving technical problems, and recommending production improvements.



Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods based on product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality standards.
  • Plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow; design equipment and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency.
  • Identify the parts, equipment, tools, and processes necessary to meet manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
  • Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs to support management decision-making.
  • Communicate manufacturing capabilities, schedules, and other relevant information to facilitate production.
  • Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange procurement of equipment, materials, and parts.
  • Evaluate products against specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Required Education: Associate's Degree with 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, work independently and in teams, problem-solving, analytical thinking, design expertise, leadership skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
