Job summary

Eaton in Arecibo, PR is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, drive daily quality performance, root-cause elimination, and continuous improvement across the supported areas. You will work with Operations, cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure stable processes, robust control plans, and reliable product performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Strong background & knowledge in Quality tools and processes.
Exposure to internal/external audits; bilingual English/Spanish.
Availability to work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to daily operations—respond to line issues, contain defects, and drive corrective actions.
Develop and evaluate manufacturing improvements based on inspection findings or customer feedback.
Lead and participate in Lean/Kaizen events in the manufacturing area.
Maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans and quality documentation; support MCO/ECO changes.
Monitor processes and performance; apply problem-solving tools for CAPA and corrective actions.
