Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement in targeted operations. This onsite role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with relocation assistance if needed.

You will apply six sigma, design for manufacturing, and capital project execution to reduce scrap and improve overall productivity, while mentoring cross-functional teams and deploying ELSS/CIF tools across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering, quality, or continuous improvement experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Must be willing to relocate to Fayetteville, NC.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; CPT/OPT/H-1B etc. are not supported.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence.
• Lead and support CI events such as VSM, 5S, Standard Work, and Rapid Improvement Events to achieve factory cost-out targets.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for implementation of continuous improvement based upon lean assessment.
• Lead and implement projects utilizing Industry 4.0 technology.
• Support front end of the business and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with MOL and ProLaunch teams to facilitate designs for manufacturing events.
• Mentor team members, team leads, and facilitators for projects.
• Support Manufacturing Change Notices (MCN) for your area.
