Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering to support advanced coating materials, monitor process health, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

You will manage root-cause analyses for deviations, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with Process/Manufacturing teams to ensure reliable, cost-effective operations. The role requires a 5–7 year manufacturing background, on-site work, and proficiency with MES/ERP, SolidWorks/AutoCAD, and Lean/Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical field.
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with equipment control systems, automation, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to use SPC, DOE, and Lean/Six Sigma concepts with Minitab for process monitoring and improvement.
• Able to work fully on-site in both a lab and office environment.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects in an ISO/GMP environment.
• Experience using MES systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or other design software.
• Clean room experience a plus; some handling of toxic materials.

Responsibilities

• Support current systems and processes for Advanced Coating materials; monitor process health and investigate deviations.
• Investigate product or process failures; determine root cause and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Implement improvements to achieve high quality at the lowest cost.
• Complete critical projects on time and within budget.
• Support manufacturing teams to address reliability issues and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Lead equipment reliability and CI projects for OEE.
• Create, release, and train operators on maintenance documentation and guides.
• Use data to drive predictive maintenance and detect equipment changes.
