Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Decatur, TX is seeking a Process Engineer II to drive manufacturing improvements in our Special Processing area. You will implement SPC, lead troubleshooting, and develop preventive maintenance to minimize downtime while ensuring product quality and process stability.

The role requires B.S. in an engineering field, 3+ years of experience with chemical processes, proficiency with CVD tools and GD&T, and a collaborative mindset to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science or similar.
• 3+ years of operations, troubleshooting, and CI of industrial chemical processes.
• Proficient with process equipment operation and troubleshooting—CVD tools, vacuum furnaces, batch processes.
• Experience with ceramic materials preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and DFM knowledge.
• GD&T knowledge and data presentation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and present technical data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Implement SPC and use statistical tools to monitor and improve process control.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and coordinate with maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures for equipment reliability.
• Lead manufacturing readiness for new product developments.
• Design fixtures to stabilize processes and reduce variation.
• Maintain product quality and monitor performance; document procedures and train operators.
