Job summary

Entegris in Danbury, CT is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Advanced Coatings group. You will drive process improvements, troubleshoot production and equipment issues, and implement solutions that enhance quality, reliability, and efficiency.

This role collaborates across teams to execute projects, maintain process documentation, and use data to support continuous improvement and operational excellence. On-site work in a lab and office environment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field.
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with equipment control systems, automation, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Proficient in SPC, DOE, and Lean/Six Sigma; able to use Minitab for analysis.
• On-site work in lab and office environments within ISO/GMP settings.
• Experience with MES/ERP and Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar design software.
• Clean room experience a plus; handling of toxic materials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support current systems and processes for Advanced Coating materials; monitor process health and document processes.
• Investigate deviations, determine root cause, and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Implement improvements to achieve high quality at lowest cost.
• Complete critical projects on time and within budget.
• Support Process and Manufacturing teams to monitor reliability and address issues.
• Lead equipment reliability and OEE improvement projects.
• Create, release, and train operators on maintenance work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and checklists.
• Use data to drive predictive maintenance and detect equipment changes.
